On Tuesday, April 14, The IFC Channel held a party celebrating two excellent programs, Sam Mason's Dinner With The Band and Thu Tran's Food Party. In attendance was Andrew W.K., the band Gators!, Au Revoir Simone, the Vega/Neon Indian posse, wizard of electronica CX Kidtronik and Bad Brilliance. Images below...

Monsterpiece Theater: Ted Leo interview, Just Blaze in the studio, BLK JKS on CNN
Elliot Aronow, creative director for free music purveyor RCRD LBL, have been filming the variety format Our Show in our underground level, featuring some of the most influential and thought provoking artists alive today. Hisham Baroocha (Soft Circle)leads the house band. Yesterday they released a teaser for some of the shenanigans headed our way, featuring technological educator Max Silvestri and pharmacist Ted Leo.

Just Blaze, who holds down our Friday night residency REOPENED, has produced for nearly every notable hip-hop artist of the past decade, and is currently working on a number of projects with the likes of Eminem, Kidz In The Hall and Jay Electronica. Here we have some footage of him (getting some footage of his own), building in his lab with microphone virtuoso Rhymefest.
