White Christmas Extravaganza!

It snowed in New York yesterday and it was a White Christmas at Santos last night thanks to Mr Patrick Duffy, Andrew Buckler, GMHC and many more. The night was speckled with performances and appearances from Lady Bunny, Jasper James, Michele Balan, Angelique Ali, Sequinette and Pixie Harlots. Acroback performed suspended from the ceiling and Deborah fucking Harry sang a few Blondie hits, including The Tide Is High and Dreaming before being joined by a full Choir to sing Christmas songs.

WE'VE MOVED!

Santos Party House has officially moved locations. We are no longer located at 100 Lafayette Street. Due to our ongoing expansion, we're now located 2 doors down (approximately 8 feet), at 96 Lafayette Street. Fortunately, we have been able to recreate the exact same club, only 8 feet further down the block, simply by shifting the walls and parts of the ceiling to accommodate the new location.

Our patrons will notice a slight shift in the sidewalk, as well as a wider stairway leading down to the lower level. As a result of this move, we now have a larger amount of space on the left side corridor of the club. We were also able to shift the entire front entrance and windows of our building, leaving the upper portion intact. If you look closely, you'll be able to see the distance between the previous location and the new one.

We've made a new logo for our address, to replace the no longer accurate, 100 Lafayette logo. Special thanks to Andrew Strasser.

The New York City Rescue Mission

At 10:30am, Thursday, December 11, 2008, Santos Party House, along with the incredible help and generosity of Jerry Rosenbaum and his wife, Rebecca, donated hundreds of brand new winter coats, vests, and children's books to The New York City Rescue Mission, located next door to Santos Party House, on Lafayette Street, in NYC. The donation was made in the spirit of good holiday cheer, and neighborly community spirit. Bag after bag of beautiful flannel coats were brought in by Santa Santos and his little helpers from the Santos Party House team, including Giulietta, Alan, Mike, Andrew, and Jerry and Rebecca.

The New York City Rescue Mission is America's oldest rescue mission, founded in 1872. Located on the corner of Lafayette and White streets, the mission provides spiritual hope, food, clothing and shelter to people in crisis in New York City. Their model has been replicated by 300 rescue missions throughout the country. Santos is pleased to support their efforts to give loving kindness to the people of the neighborhood and the surrounding city.
